We’ve all been there – trying to lose weight the quickest and easiest way possible, and while there are many roads that lead to that, some of them come with possible risks. There is nothing more important than good health, so even if I want to look skinny, I always do my homework before getting into any diet or fitness program.
For instance, I did some research on potential side effects of advanced Garcinia Cambogia extract before I jumped into the bandwagon. The supplement is relatively safe, but of course, there are some minor side effects that can occur. I found out that by taking it correctly – according to the recommended dose and frequency – there are no major side effects to worry about. In fact, the fruit and extract has been used for centuries in the past as a food item without creating any adverse reactions.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have dementia or Alzheimer’s, you shouldn’t take the supplement. Children, too, are not advised to take it. Upon further research, it appears that it can have negative effects if used while taking certain medications, such as cholesterol-lowering drugs. As always, when in doubt, it’s best to consult a physician before moving forward.
Common side effects can occur, such as nausea, upset stomach and headaches. To get the most of the fruit and avoid experiencing these side effects, experts recommend taking it about 30 to 60 minutes before a meal, and making sure you drink a minimum of eight ounces of water with it.
There is no one drug or supplement for everybody. Our bodies are different, and so are our metabolisms. With this in mind, it’s not that uncommon to achieve different results or goals with Garcinia compared to other people. The important thing when taking this supplement is to always use only the recommended dose and nothing more.
