Lost Cities on Xbox 360
March 5, 2008

It had been rumored that the strategy card game Lost Cities may be heading to Xbox Live Arcade in the future after news of Knizia working to develop games for Xbox Live Arcade was announced. Well… the trusty ESRB website has given us proof. No release date or additional information is provided but one can assume with the popularity of Catan and Carcassonne on Live Arcade that Lost Cities will be a Live Arcade game download with online play.
Rio Grande, publisher of Lost Cities, also publishes the popular strategy games Puerto Rico, Carcassonne, and many others. Can a video game version of Puerto Rico be far behind?
Board Game Geek describes Lost Cities as :
“a two-player card game by Kosmos. The object is to mount profitable expeditions to one or more of the five different lost cities. Card play is quite straightforward, with a few agonizing moments sprinkled through what is mostly a fast-moving game. If you start a given expedition, you’d better make some progress in it, or it’ll score you negative points. If you can make a lot of progress, you’ll score quite well. After three rounds, the highest total score takes the day.”
