Xbox Live Arcade Awards 2007
Xbox Live is holding a quick survey to determine public opinion on the best live arcade games of 2007. I see that Catan and Carcassonne are nominated. You can also do write-in votes. So if you enjoyed Catan and Carcassonne, feel free to let your voice be heard and vote for them.
The small optimistic voice in me hopes that if Catan and/or Carcassonne wins an award we will see even more quality strategy board games and casual board games translated to xbox live. I feel board game translations work well on xbox live for those gaming fans that can’t meet with their groups all the time or have moved away, you can always call a friend up and play online.
To honor the successes of Xbox LIVE® Arcade developers, Microsoft will announce the recipients of the inaugural Xbox LIVE Arcade Awards – 2007 at the Game Developer Conference in February. Winners will be selected in part based upon popular vote, and fans of Xbox LIVE Arcade games are invited to cast their votes through January 30, 2008.
